Ismail Rasheed is the founder and editor-in-chief of Channel News Maldives (CNM). He is a veteran journalist with over 25+ years of experience in the media industry. Under his leadership cnm has expanded its media group's services to become the first private online media outlet to launch its very own tv station. Ismail has won several awards in recognition for his contribution towards the betterment of the nation. Most notably he was awarded the 'Noosverikamuge Alimas Galan' award by president solih on December 11, 2018.
